100% USDA Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, some of the finest green tea in the world grown in Japan in the Aichi prefecture. Prior to the harvest of matcha, the tea plants are shaded to bring out brightness and sweetness not associated with other green teas. The leaves are then harvested and processed, and ETTE LEAF’s’s ceremonial matcha tea is ground down to powder.
Pure Matcha is not an instant mix. Therefore, cannot be stirred with a spoon. It must be whisked with a bamboo or electric whisker.
Healthy Superfood - Matcha is rich in catechin antioxidants, helps boost metabolism, great source of natural energy and mental clarity.
Today, Matcha is still used in the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, but also in many other ways. Ceremonial Matcha is used in cakes, pies , ice cream, as an ingredient in baked goods and entrees, and it is especially popular in lattes and smoothies. Getting a regular intake of the antioxidants from Matcha green tea may also help lowering cholesterol and blood pressure.

Founder
Daniel Carbaugh, the founder of Ette Leaf, seeks to share his passion for great tea with you. Born in Thailand to the Karen people group; Daniel's early life was steeped in the culture of tea.
As part of a persecuted people group, Daniel and his family were driven out of their native land to the Mae La refugee camp, where sadly his mother did not survive. Unable to return to their home, they were granted permission to emigrate to the United States. Soon after arriving in the US, Daniel's father also passed away. His loving adoptive mother, Annette, is the inspiration for the Ette Leaf name. Daniel wanted to emphasize his love for his homeland and his new adoptive family when branding his company. Through it all, he has felt loved and cared for and wishes to pass on that care to you through health. Though we face many challenges in life, love never fails.
Love Ya’ Matcha is the first of many superior quality teas sold by Ette Leaf, and Daniel looks forward to sharing his passion and knowledge of tea with you.
Cheers, from the Ette Leaf family to yours.
